High-performance hip, knee and shoulder implant solutions to restore mobility with excellence

Quantica operates across several regions in Brazil with the support of a solid network of distributor partners. These partnerships ensure that Medacta’s hip, knee and shoulder implant solutions are available with agility, technical support and excellence in service.

More than expanding our geographical presence, Quantica distributor partners share the same commitment to ethics, innovation and the transformation of people’s mobility.

Knee

Anatomical precision, functional stability and personalisation

Our knee arthroplasty line covers everything from primary procedures to complex revision cases, with implants designed to replicate the natural biomechanics of the knee and 3D surgical planning technologies.

MyKnee

3D preoperative planning

MyKnee is a patient-specific cutting block that allows the surgeon to perform 3D preoperative planning based on CT or MRI images of the patient’s knee.

Implants by Indication

GMK Sphere

Based on the anatomical and kinematic studies of the knee carried out by Prof. Michael Freeman and Prof. Vera Pinskerova, GMK Sphere is an innovative total knee implant designed to provide maximum functional stability, with the goal of increasing patient satisfaction after total knee arthroplasty during daily activities and reducing postoperative knee pain. GMK Sphere is also available with SensiTiN, a ceramic-like coating developed to reduce the release of metal ions from the implant.

GMK Primary

The GMK Primary System was conceived and designed using state-of-the-art solutions while respecting the natural anatomy and kinematics of the knee joint.

MOTO Medial - Unicompartmental knee solution

MOTO Medial was designed to optimise anatomical fit and compartment-specific coverage for the widest range of patient anatomies. It features a patient-specific gap balancing and alignment technique, with minimised and precise bone resections and no ligament releases. The implant design and instrumentation work together to optimise intraoperative decision-making and flexibility for each patient.

GMK Uni

GMK UNI was conceived to be soft-tissue friendly. Both the implant and the instrumentation are designed to suit muscle-sparing and soft-tissue-sparing surgical approaches.

GMK Revision

GMK Revision is a total knee replacement system designed to preserve joint functionality without drastically altering its anatomy and kinematics, even in cases of severe ligament instability or major bone defects.

GMK Hinge

GMK Hinge features a modular, stress-free hinge mechanism within the GMK patellar implant system. Together with its bone-preserving design, it helps the surgeon address demanding joint salvage procedures, as well as unstable primary surgeries where clinical indications support the use of a constrained implant.

GMK Efficiency

GMK Efficiency is an innovative and complete single-use instrument solution used to implant GMK Primary or GMK Sphere.

3D Metal Tibial Cone

Medacta’s 3DMetal Tibial Cones are a valuable solution to recreate a proximal structural foundation for the intended revision implant, achieving proximal fixation and force transmission into the remaining host bone.

Shoulder

Modularity, digital planning and functional recovery

We offer complete solutions for anatomical and reverse shoulder arthroplasty, with a focus on stability, surgical precision and effective postoperative rehabilitation.

MyShoulder 3D

3D preoperative planning

MyShoulder is a 3D preoperative planning system for shoulder surgery. It recreates patient-specific guides based on imaging exams and proposes virtual implant positioning.

Shoulder System

Versatility and performance

The Medacta Shoulder System is a modular shoulder replacement solution that offers a broad range of options, including different sizes, adjustable offset and innovative configurations, in both anatomical and reverse settings.

Hip

High performance with less invasive techniques and precise biomechanics

Our hip arthroplasty solutions were developed to preserve anatomical structures, reduce surgical trauma and accelerate the patient’s functional return.

AMIS

Minimally invasive anterior approach

AMIS — Anterior Minimally Invasive Surgery — is the only hip replacement technique that follows an intermuscular and internervous pathway to reduce damage to periarticular structures while preserving tissue.

Implants and Components

AMIStem P

AMIStem-P is the evolution of a successful and proven femoral stem concept, originally created to simplify the AMIS approach without compromising implant stability. Building on the remarkable clinical heritage of AMIStem-H, AMIStem-P was developed with the goal of providing enhanced load transfer through the application of a state-of-the-art coating, MectaGrip, on the proximal part of the stem, better addressing the modern challenges of total hip arthroplasty. The AMIStem-P system also includes a collared version, AMIStem-P Collared, and a cemented version, AMIStem-C.

SMS Metaphyseal Stem

SMS — Short Medacta Stem — is a cementless, reduced-length femoral stem developed to preserve proximal bone and restore hip biomechanics physiologically. Its anatomical design and metaphyseal fixation support stability, bone preservation and compatibility with the AMIS technique.

Quadra System

The Quadra System is a complete straight femoral stem system for use in primary and revision surgeries. It is designed to withstand biomechanical stresses and has shown exceptionally good survival rates.

X-ACTA Cemented

X-ACTA is a polished, double-tapered cemented femoral stem developed to offer stability, reliability and adaptation to different anatomies in hip arthroplasty.

M-Vizion Revision

M-Vizion combines an exclusive mechanical design with the Wagner concept, providing high modular junction stability and immediate diaphyseal fixation. Its modularity offers intraoperative flexibility and enables precise hip reconstruction, adapting to different anatomies and surgical scenarios.

Versafit Cup Trio

The inner shell of Versafitcup CC Trio has been remodelled to accommodate the use of larger heads, better meeting the needs of patients and surgeons while restoring biomechanics. Versafitcup CC Trio is also available without lateral screw holes. Together, they form the Versafitcup CC Trio family.

VersafitCup DM

Versafitcup Double Mobility is based on the original Dual Mobility design developed by Prof. Bousquet and the Medical School of St. Etienne, France, in 1976. With more than 30 years of successful clinical history, this concept is widely used in Europe and particularly in France, where it represents approximately 25% of the primary hip implant market. With the introduction of the Highcross Double Mobility liner, Versafitcup may be considered a valid alternative to large-head rigid articulation.
Versacem DM Cemented

Versacem DM Cemented

Versacem is a cemented acetabular component for double mobility, developed to offer high stability even in cases of poor bone quality. Its design and double mobility concept contribute to greater joint safety and reliable clinical performance.
